Take an antihistamine to help ease the swelling such as Piriton or Benadryl as directed

Ice the treated area intermittently

Using Arnica gel or tablets will speed up the bruising process

Massage lips 2 days after treatment, once a day for 2 weeks to keep the filler soft and natural

If you are prone to cold sores you can apply creams such as Zovirax to the lip area as a preventative, as causing trauma to the lips can cause an out break

After the anti-wrinkle treatment, you may experience some temporary tenderness, swelling and bruising around the injection site, which may occur for up to two weeks after treatment. Taking an antihistamine and applying arnica gel will help speed the healing process.

Please allow the full 14 days to pass to see the full effect. A review is offered if you still have full movement of the treated area. A top-up can be offered in this case only.
