ENHANCEMENT
Dermal filler can be administered to the chin area to either enhance the protrusion or elongation of the chin and to balance out the facial profile. Clients also get chin filler to change the appearance of their chin dimple and to Improve jowls and fine lines.
Jaw filler is also becoming an extremely popular treatment as it improves the definition of the lower face. Over time our facial fat pads drop, causing our jaw line to become ‘saggy’, and by adding filler, this tightens up the jawline and gives a smooth and soft profile. Filler can also be administered to the angular bone of the jaw to provide definition of the corners.
Chin and jaw filler complement each other very well, and with the right amount can provide a strong defined jawline which is becoming immensely popular within our male clients.
HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?
Results will last around 8-12 months as a thicker filler is used; however, this depends on lifestyle factors and metabolism.
HOW MUCH FILLER WILL I NEED?
This varies from person to person, depending on how defined your jaw already is. Some people may need up to 5/6ml to get their desired effect. After your consultation with Becky, you will be advised on a rough idea of how many ml you will need, that can either be done in one session, or split over a few.
IS THERE A RECOVERY PERIOD?
With filler no, you will be ready to go after the appointment! You may have some minimal swelling and bruising and we ask you do not touch the area or wear make up for 24hrs to avoid risk of infection. Have a look at our aftercare page to see how else to prevent side effects.
WILL IT MAKE ME LOOK MASCULINE?
If the areas are over filled and your face looks very angular and square then yes, this is always a risk. That is why we have a thorough consultation to advise you on the best volume of filler to use to get your desired look.
